Overview

The SIMPLE ELEGANCE design of the Smart Controls SI-45-THC SMART STAT extends the superior accuracy and exceptional performance of smart indoor air quality, SMART IAQ. The SI-45-THC creates optimal control of indoor air space by efficiently managing temperature, properly maintaining humidity and providing fresh air ventilation with optional CO2 control.

The LCD display has been designed to be easy to read for commercial or school building user interaction. A minimum set of push-buttons provides simple intuitive comfort adjustments for temperature, fan speed and override. Specific push-button presses allow installers to conveniently enter configuration settings or verify input, output or sensor operation. All configuration settings, diagnostic information and measured values are available through network communication connections.

User friendly intuitive self-diagnostics expands SMART IAQ to provide first response information on important conditions that signal changes in ambient conditions, system and sensor performance. Measurement of input and output values and can be viewed from the front panel interface without the need for installers to access measurement tools to verify sensor or signals.

To efficiently provide information for system control and user interaction, multiple open protocol communication networks are combined to provide seamless and robust integration into BACnet MS/TP, BACnet FT and LONWORKS FT networks.

Open source application specific or custom application software can be downloaded into the ST-45-MP allowing a single hardware device to facilitate a complete host of environmental SMART STAT and SMART IAQ control applications. Exceptional and extensive fully programmable capabilities with VisualControl graphical programming software boosts the flexibility to create, enhance and maintain applications tailored to the optimal performance established for maintaining indoor air and environmental control.

A strong set of physical inputs and outputs that are electrically protected from voltage transients’ sense input conditions and provide necessary output responses for optimally control of indoor air quality.

Convenient pluggable Humidity and CO2 sensors allow for easy replacement of sensors as necessary.

A sturdy clean white enclosure mounts to standard junction box or wall mounting placement. Two locking screws concealed at the bottom of the enclosure prevent random opening of the enclosure. Terminal block connections are accessible by opening the clam shell enclosure design.
